Not a foie gras fan, but love veal. This type of food banning isn't unheard of. I don't think we can eat horse in the US, and it's consumed in France; dogs have similar laws here vs. Asia. What's the difference?

I am sure some producers of foie gras use this method to feed the geese. I am just saying that you cannot condemn an entire industry based on one video. Those videos are made to shock the public. The same technique is used by pro-life activists with their pictures of dead 8-months old fetuses.
