I use the java client at Pokerroom FWIW, but there is no way to turn off the player animations.
There is an option that says "turn off animations" or something but it doesnt actually turn anything off. |

I don't remember what else, but the animation could be a drag on performance when multitabling or multitasking. |

Hi,
After having contacted our games platform supplier they informed us of a bug in the new rake structure that will be / already have been dealt with. The reason some of your hands have been over-raked is due to a flaw in dealing with certain side pots. As soon as we've gone through all the hands, refunds will be issued for all the surplus rake generated from such side-pots. Refunds will be carried out as soon as we have identified all the erroneous hands. This is quite an undertaking, but we hope to have everyone refunded by next week. Regarding the new, soon-to-be released Player Points structure, you will find that the amount of points earned have increased dramatically. Hence the increase in clearing requirements. Bonuses "stuck" between the two requirements will use the new one for the remainder of the bonus. All-in-all, bonuses should now clear at the same rate they did before all the changes. If anything, it will be slightly easier to clear bonuses under the new system. Thank you for putting in the effort and sending us all the hand histories. Hopefully us taking the time to address all you 2+2:ers directly is something you value. We'd love to be able to keep this line of communication open and productive!
