Re: (nc) broke my first mouse today, thank you 6 max
[ QUOTE ]
I can recommend the Logitech cordless trackball. BTW: The trackball was invented before the mouse. [/ QUOTE ] If you have a problem with breaking mouses, getting a cordless one is the worst thing you can do. |

My throwing objects, results and recommendations:
cheap water bottle: water everywhere. Not good. Scrabble dictionary: dent in wall, dictionary split perfectly in two. BAD. squishy Kenny (from Southpark) keychain doll: perfect. |

Get one of these. They should be mandatory for poker players. Punching Bag [/ QUOTE ] Phil Hellmuth needs to come out with one of these - the bad beat bag. I not only broke my mouse, I threw my trackball through the hall closet door. My wife was quite impressed........ |

I managed to smash in my mouses buttons and break the wheel when someone beat my KKs with 22s by rivering the 2. I flipped out like you wouldn't believe. My roomates think I'm a straight pyscho.

I destroyed that thing with a punch after taking a beat, only problem was it wasn't inflated properly. I cut the hell out of my hand on the plastic base. It really is a nice thing to release anger/stress on. |

The Pokerstars stress ball is good- you can throw the hell out of it and not hurt anything.
I might have to order one of those punching bags though. |

Re: (nc) broke my first mouse today, thank you 6 max
Isn't it (ever so slightly) comforting to know that there's many of us who throw things? I get so mad losing boat after boat that I was starting to wonder if I needed therapy. If you guys don't, I don't! Or maybe we all do... Who said that?! (Nervously looks around empty room.)
P.S. You can repeatedly punch a Gateway laptop screen without incident as long as you don't hold the screen in place with the other hand... |

My CRT might as well be a bunching bag. Slapping the sides creates a loud noise which makes you feel as if your actually alleviating some stress. On the other hand, if you are extremely frustrated or just playing six max, the screen is hard as rock. I might break a hand, i don't know. [/ QUOTE ] My CRT was a punching bag for me too. I recently upgraded to a 2001fp. I have been trying very hard to constrain myself from hitting it. So far I've been able to, but have been close to hitting it a few times. I need to buy a protective force shield or something for it. |

Re: (nc) broke my first mouse today, thank you 6 max
That is my Punching Bag, that my wife gave me. It is very handy. Although slamming my BARGE chip protector into the top of my new desk my wife bought me, pisses her off more.
I got the Laser mouse as recommended on this board and it is great. It runs several days without charging. I love it. Although I do not have a 2001, so I am monitor challenged. |

I'd say its a good excuse to buy an optical mouse. You'd think there isnt much difference, but I couldnt go back to trackball.
