Well, what did you think my post referred to? His poker playing ability ? And I really don't care if he had a fever and his strength was sapped. The guy was a jackass.

A shame he didnt shut his douchebag mouth or ur opinion of him (at least perhaps of his play) would change. [/ QUOTE ] fyp. I, for one, am not surprised he isn't at the ME this year. I'm surprised he made it out of Vegas last year with his arms and legs in tact after that embarassing display. |

I used to play with him and his real strength is in short-handed and heads-up situations. A shame he didnt make the top5 or ur opinion of him (at least perhaps of his play) would change. [/ QUOTE ] I'd say his real strength is soft-playing his friend that he had a piece of, which he proudly admitted to in his trip report. Yeah, he's a total douche. |

really? ive heard from people that have played him on PSO that theres no softer spot when it gets shorthanded, esp. on the bubble
having read his trip report i dont know how anyone can like him really, he doesnt show much respect for anyone while acting like that. and who can forget the wonderful aces hand he had just before the bubble on the featured table, blinds 1k/2k, hansen raises to 6k, anderson moves in for 120k total AND gets called by a 40k stack with KQ. if only i was that good :*( /me awaits a 'huh huh, how many WSOP final tables have you made?' |

Mats said even after doing well last year that he wouldnt play the WSOP ME unless he quallied in. With the sheer number of players, he's well aware of the roulette chances even for decent players. He is not a total douche. Dont forget his AK was sucked out on by Raymer's AT at the final tbl last year. I used to play with him and his real strength is in short-handed and heads-up situations. A shame he didnt make the top5 or ur opinion of him (at least perhaps of his play) would change. I would bet money he would wax your A$$ heads-up, doubt-boy [/ QUOTE ] Don't talk crap. I seem to have the opposite opinion of most on here. He's a very nice guy, but not that good a player. The gulf between him and the likes of Raymer, Arieh, Mclain, Harrington is stunningly huge. He caught lightning in a bottle last year. Good luck to him. |

That Swedish guy was fun to watch and did well last year. Anyone know what happened with him ? Is he in this years ME ? I have not heard anything about him. Just a question i was pondering. [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Kasey [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] [/ QUOTE ] Fun to watch? I would rather stick a red-hot poker up my ass than watch or more importantly listen to that shrill douchebag. Nothing personal against, but omg what an annoying clown. |

Second that... irrespective of how well he plays; what a decent person he is; etc. he behaves like a moronic ass and is painfully annoying to watch. I would just as soon have a chimp on meth at my table.
On second thought about "second that", I will defer on the red-hot poker and just hit the mute button and stare out the window until I think it's safe. |

I don't care what anybody else says... watching a guy walk around the room celebrating like an ass is not entertaining to me... only way it would be entertaining would be if someone got up from the table and bitch-slapped him and told him to sit down and stfu... now that would be fun to watch |
