I think calling is a better plan, but I'm not gonna lie, if its against a typical party player, in the heat of battle, I'm probably gonna ram and jam

Anyone think check/call is a better line for this river?

Seems like it might be a "worse hands fold, better hands raise" situation...

I basically suck at these river decisions and am trying to work on that aspect of my game. Any advice is appreciated.

I think that he thought you had a king on the flop but was going to call down. When 2 more kings came he thought you were betting with just the ace so his pair looked good.

Let's look at what calls:
a 6, a 3, pocket pairs lower than yours, ace high, maybe some queen highs...

Let's see what raises:
Kx, higher pocket pairs than yours (unlikely, unless op is VERY passive), hell, some pocket pairs lower than yours can find a raise.

Why would you want to mercilessly sacrifice kittens by not value-betting this river again? Do you have something against our furry friends. Looks like I'm gonna have to report you to MrWookie and PETA!

TPNK is a potential caller (as opposed to raiser) if he's putting me on a hand like AK or KQ, due to the raise - right?
