That 62 (I think) Harrington bluff is definitely up there.
The dark check and 500,000 chip call with 55 goes up there as one of the worst. |

2004 WSOP Omaha, Norman Chad:
"Chiau can now make a straight with a 3, 7, 9 and a 10. In fact, I think he can make a straight if a UNO-card came out." |

The final hand of the WSOP is always the TV hand of the year for its impact on the game and the fact that is the hand everyone is waiting to see.
But my personal fave is the Daniel N. bluff on Deeb. |

It's a shame they didn't show Raymer's all-in reraise bluff with T8o against John Murphy. That would've been my pick.
As it is, I have to go with Harrington's 63o bluff against Raymer and Arieh. Just masterful in knowing his opponents and his own perceived table image. |

Yeah, I always hate when players call me with a better hand...Then end up winning the the best one, horrible play. |

His hand being best preflop isnt result oriented...its a proper read of 2 overs without a Jack probably. He probably pushes any ragged flop anyway after letting Arieh bluff(which he almost certainly will after the dark check).

Williams actually planned to check/fold on any flop without a five. |

If it was anyone but Phil Hellmuth, I would cut Chip a break but because it was Hellmuth, Chip could have made that laydown and impressed me. As it was, Chip couldn't do it --- somewhat understandable but can't be impressed at making a tough but wrong play against the worlds tightest tournament player. [/ QUOTE ] You're quite mistaken about Hellmuth. He plays a lot of pots. He is definitely not tight. |

Anyone else impressed by Arieh laying down his K high flush after murph led out with a push when he hit his boat at the main event??
I couldnt fold there, and that push had to be the bonehead play of the WSOP (that and the 55 call/check) |
