Re: nothing can be done right?
I may be the only weak tightie here... but why the nutty bet on the river. Honestly, witht that board, I'm thinking your bet means fullhouse. You raise $50... which is likely to only be called by someone with a better fullhouse. Mind you, you also have the 6th nuts.
When he raised the river, did you consider the half a dozen better fullhouses (or quads) out there? I also think you might have had a little better info if you bet earlier. Good chance you might have received some info earlier (possibly on the flop) |

Bet the flop. Convert by hand. I agree it sucks, but I've been doing it because it encourages actual discussion and not sound-bytes.

Re: nothing can be done right?
Bet flop. You have a huge hand, but there's flush and straight draws out there, and going for a c/r is risky given that you have no reason to believe the flop will be bet for you.
Turn looks good. River: I would just call the raise. You have the worst full house possible, your river push won't get called by anything you beat (I highly doubt a straight or trip 6s calls that big a river 3bet for a nothing pot). |
