sadly I can relate to the travels in the asian games. Anyways a push is you win one 2 card hand and lose your 5 card hand or vice versa. You've got to win both hands to win or if you're the dealer you can win one and tie another hand (tie goes to the dealer/banker). Cum cum is splitting the action with someone

In Pai Gow, you get 7 cards. You make 2 hands, one with 2 cards, one with 5. Your 5 card hand must be better than your 2 card hand. Dealer does the same with his 7 cards. If your 2 card hand AND your 5 card hand beat his respective 2 and 5 card hands, you win. If both of your hands lose, you lose. If one hand wins and one loses, you push. The player in question had the best possible 2 card hand, and a downright excellent 5 card hand, and got totally cornholed. Hilarity ensued.

Hi D,

I left before the inevitable bloodshed. That may have been the most downright filthy thing that I've ever seen gambling, though, especially considering the circumstances.

Merry X-mas and Happy Kwaanza,

JA

i'm shocked by two things:

(a) many of you have never played pai gow and don't know the rules
(b) you will admit it in this thread.

terrible.
