Najdorf and Smiley -

Have you observed David Grey's play in cash games? How many hours have you watched him play exclusively cash?

....

Ok, that's what I thought.

If anyone plays by the book, David Grey does. He plays with good starting hands and generally plays them to the river.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is from a
good source.

So I think it's an ok assumption that he plays solid and ABC.

That is how he plays relative to the rest of the players who play in those games.

I've played with him live and found that he was not as "straightforward" as we have been lead to believe through TV and other pros comments.

How he plays against some unknown donk on the internet is probably also different.

As lapoker said, and i asked in my q's to the other posters, how a pro plays in a 4k/8k game and how he plays on FT is often very, very different.

For example, many of you guys would have a very different opinion of Phil Ivey if you based your image of him on how he plays 50/100NL on FT.

sorry by observe I imply watched extensively from the rail and/or played with. I already got several nice PMs from John Smiley challenging me to 50/100 HU duels because I was being "a dick". You want to join the party?

Hope it worked out for you, he's pretty damn ABC poker player.

[/ QUOTE ]

Just curious, is this based on your play against him or based on reading on Barry G or whoever's site that DG is ABC?

If it is based on you playing him, have you played him on FT?
