Re: On the Bubble in an 11
I think a "good" player can bet here with just about anything.

[ QUOTE ]
And now for a contrary, female opinion: WHAT??!??!?! I do not agree that it is push or fold here. Under the circumstances, I really would not knowingly want to engage in a coin flip with Burt_2r. My decision would be based on my read of this player. If he is a good 11 player, I would put him on a superior or coin flip hand and fold. If he is an average 11 player, I would put him on a coin flip to slightly inferior hand, call, and trust myself to do the right thing after I see the flop and Burt_2r's next action. If he is a poor player, I would put him on a random hand and move all in preflop. If I am to assume you had no read at all on Burt_2r at this point, then I would recommend you lean to the safe side and fold the tens. [/ QUOTE ] no deal missy. hero is too close to being blinded out himself. at this stage you still have to fight, can't assume shorty is just gonna go away. |

We can agree to disagree on that one. In my opinion, good players do not normally 2.5 bet here with just anything. Poor players (and sometimes Excellent players...rarely found in the 11's) do that. |
