OK.
I don't know how many I'm gonna read, it depends if I like them. I have heard they are love/hate. Survivor or Choke? Starting now, first to 3 votes wins. |

Invisible Monsters sucked...which is why it wasn't included on the list; I'm looking out for the OP. [/ QUOTE ] It wasn't that bad. Ya, the story is a little far fetched, but I still enjoyed it. I think the book would have been better though without the last chapter when the narrator explains everything. |

Re: Which Palahnuik book first?
Survivor is my personal favorite, so I vote Survivor (to answer the OP's question).
Invisible Monsters didn't do anything for me. In speaking with others who have also read all of his works, it seems to be the majority opinion. I stand by my list as correct. |

Re: Which Palahnuik book first?
just go to his website and the forums on his website, there are articles all over it about that book and how that and survivor are considered his best work.
that is the only other forum i have ever been on, haven't been on it in over a year though. i will thumb through it now though. chuck |

Re: Which Palahnuik book first?
Good call on Tom Robbins -- Fierce Invalids Home from Hot Climates was one of my favorite reads from the past year. A great 'one-sitting' read.
