That call-3bet from the solid player is indeed ominous, but the pot is big and you can (likely) see the turn card for one small bet. If you spike you stand to win a big pot. And while unlikely, it's not impossible your hand is currently best. Heck, if you cap (4-bet cap?) you just might get to see two "free" cards.
I probably go too far with overpairs in these situations, but I'm not giving up for one (more) small bet on a raggedy rainbow board. |

I don't think that by capping on the button that I would get 2 free cards in that situation. I think my only two options were fold or call and fold an unimproved turn.

If I counted right, there was 21 SB's in the pot when it got call-raised back to you. You're likely behind but had the odds to peel.
