When my wife and I were dating, and she was still adjusting to birth control, she wound up late by around 10 days. Longest week of my life.

This happened to me too, and she was pregnant. It's funny to look back on now. We had been dating for awhile. She hadn't said anything about being late, but I knew. She comes out of the bathroom after the test kind of teary eyed and really really worried about what I'd say. She says she has something to talk to me about. I took one look at her and said, "You're pregnant aren't you? I was wondering when you'd figure out you were late." I knew before she did.

edit: in our case, she was on birth control and we'd both been recently tested for STDs so we were not using other protection.

That's funny. I know my wife's cycle better than she does, too. I plan vacations around it.

I just rescheduled my trip to Dallas around the period of the girl I'm visiting. I haven't seen her in 6 months and the last time I saw her she was on her period and traumatized me so bad from her flipping out that I remembered the date exactly. I pulled out a calendar a couple weeks ago and realized I was in for a world of hurt if I landed the day I was planning to land. Conveniently, "some poker thing" came up and I had to rebook

Eating disorder = not fun cycles. My ex-girlfriend (while we were going out) managed to be a week or more late at least 3 times. 3-5 days eventually become no sweat.
