thanks. good point. i think that since your association is only with the affiliate, it should be gray enough to be legal enough.

Think of rakeback as a referral bonus. Because that's what it is. The Casino paid some guy for referring you, and that guy is giving you a kickback.

Its no different that when your employer is trying to fill a position and offers employees a bonus for referring a person who is ultimately hired. Then you, the employee, give the guy you referred a piece of your bonus.

That's it, and its not illegal. Its the free market at work.

A better question is whether the affiliates are aiding and abetting the commision of a crime, but offering you a financial inducement to "break" the ambiguous and unclear "law."
