August Goals Post

MEbenhoe - last month's "goals" thread was really good luck for me (thanks!).... Didn't meet all of my goals, but I did achieve the more important ones.

For August:

1) 12K Hands total.

2) Win 300 BBs.

3) Continue to add more 5/10 full HE into my play and dabble in 10/20 when I find a good table.

4) Improve my SNG tourney play - positive ROI.

5) Make a final table in a large MTT.

6) Become a winning player at 6-max.

2. Take another shot at 6-max.

3. ToP and Inside the Poker Mind.

Buy a Dell 2001 so I can start mindlessly 8-tabling.

Or move up to 5/10 fulltime 4-tabling.

school starts in September and I don't work or have school half the month, so I'm shooting for 100 hours over those 2 weeks plus 15 hours each the other 2 weeks, then bump that down since neither of those are happening. so we'll say 120 hours, 50k hands, amd 30k including rakeback

I'm glad to see the goals post continuing; I think it's a useful device.

This next month will unfortunately be very busy for me and I'm setting my goals to reflect that.

1. 15k hands.

2. Permanently move up to at least 3/6. I'm regularly playing 9/18 live now and I took a shot at 5/10 and 10/20 on Friday and was very happy with my play and the results.

3. Read Weighing the Odds in Hold'em and How Good is Your Limit Hold'em?

4. Keep studying Cauchy integrals on Lipschitz curves and solve my PhD thesis problem. This is a goal that will repeat over the next 24 months.

5. Go on a date with Mischa Barton or Visa.
