Re: How tricky are you?
I think i'm about a 6 or 7. I used to be higher but i think it ends up costing you(i.e. missing bets when going for a river c/r, getting 3bet when you are raising for a free card[and then capping for free card ] etc..). I guess the trickiness scale is wierd because i don't think a 10 is optimum. If you have good table selection you shouldn't have to be too tricky because your opponents are so easy to read and play against. I play 30/60.

Re: How tricky are you?
2 in multiway pots. 1 heads up vs. exploitable players (loose passives etc.) About 7 heads up vs. good players.
I play 30/60 usually. |

Re: How tricky are you?
at 1/2 i surely was a "1". Now at 3/6 I might moved up to "2" :P
No reason to get tricky with calling stations. |

Re: How tricky are you?
Hey, where do I find my FPS score in PT?
I think I'm mostly "ABC tricky". E.g. check-raise the flop with a big draw versus a blind steal. This is so standard, it is in fact, not tricky at all. I will only occasionaly ramp up the trickiness in the right spot. E.g. good players, I have a read, and the right board. |

Re: How tricky are you?
This is so hard to rate. I keep typing up a few lines and deleting them. I'll just call myself a 6 and be done with it.
I hesitate to really call it "tricky," since my "tricky" lines are typically against specific opponents, trying to exploit their weaknesses: for instance, I wouldn't say check-call-check-call-check-raise the river is a "tricky" line with say, top pair, against one of the fools who likes to relentlessly "value bet" trash hands, and assumes that since I didn't raise, I don't have anything. Likewise, against a player who prides himself on making those impossible laydowns, like overpairs when he's check-raised on the turn, I don't necessarily think it's "tricky" to wait until the turn to check-raise with a draw, since your fold equity skyrockets compared to raising straight away on the flop. Things like that. In general, I don't like weird lines as much as I used to, but I'm probably "trickier" than your average donk. |

Re: How tricky are you?
4 over all pretty straight forward. almost never bluff the big streets... which I am definitely seeing opportunities for but have yet to take them... or maybe I just see them too late. semibluff turn occasionally... but dont like it too much.
probably about a 9 on the flop heads up. i love the blind battles. Would like to be trickier overall...but think it would be too expensive |
