Re: WSOP Final Table: \"Official\" News, Results, and Discussion
Can someone help me understand what Negreanu and Hellmuth were just talking about? I missed the action and I beleive, one guy raised early to 300k, a flat call then the big blind re-raised. They were saying they KNEW the caller would fold easily and if he had a read that the original raiser was weak then the whole pot would be the re-raiser. Am I screwed up somewhere? It sounds like some really interesting information....

Re: WSOP Final Table: \"Official\" News, Results, and Discussion
From reading the Cardplayer hand commentary, I get the inevitable sense of an A. Black victory.
Every time I look up, he's blowing people out of pots. After bluffing Ivey and Raymer out pre-flop with junk like A2 yesterday, it's hard for me NOT to believe. He's got a great story too. Young Irish guy attacks 1997 ME with overpowering aggression, implodes against Unger, goes into Buddhist hibernation, and remerges in 2005 to win the whole thing... It all fits. |

Card Player(Euro) Article On Andy Black
Explains all the cryin' 'n commotion over Wang's dinner break mistake, maybe.
BTW now that it's getting shorthanded and Black has the big lead again, I'll go out on a limb and say he's gotta be the big favorite. He got a lil tired last night, but he seems sharp today. Man, what kinda odds could you have got yesterday morning that Greg, Ivey, & Mouth would all finish out of the top 8? Incidentally, Tex Barch told Daniel that he thinks Black bluffed on that last big hand before dinner, "like he did to Ivey yesterday"???!!! Gonna have to check the log from yest. Oh, and here's an unexpected development(from pokervoice): "A slight delay on that as once again power and Internet is lost in the media room. " At Binion's?! Shocked, shocked I say. Sorry if all this has been posted before. I just got here and there's too much to check. Plus, geeked up for HP6 at midnight. |

Re: Card Player(Euro) Article On Andy Black
To be honest and no great disrespect to Kanter I think Andy knows it's a large stack he can attack. And I think Tex is right Andy is avoiding him. Tex and Andy heads-up is my prediction barring very unlikely runner runner flushes etc. Oh wait....
