then why bother with this farce? especially since [censored] is perfectly happy with (and likely prefers) banning people without any input from the rest of us ...

i'd like ThinMan banned as much as the next guy (although he's been on my ignore list so long it really doesn't matter at this point) ... i just think this spectacle is unnecessary and contrary to the "making OOT better" campaign.

let me be clear - i'm not taking issue with the fact that certain posters should be banned; the "spectacle" with which i'm taking issue is this faux-contest - one which had a near-certain outcome from the start.

I agree that jake was a heavy favorite but I assure you had he lost (result seems certain now) he would have been banned.

Also the thinman v. jake contest had enough backstory to make it worthwhile IMO.
