This illustrates the meaningless of the more and more popular anti-deal stance. Payouts are not determined by the players, but by the site/cardroom.
Like Mike Sexton and other experienced top-player always preach, you have to treat poker as a business to make money. A business where you cannot make a deal? Not much of a business, if you ask me. No doubt Lars is a much more experienced player than the remaining two of you. But that doesn't render his edge in a short term setting big enough to make up for the fatal error of failing to protect his investment. To learn from.
