Re: 46s in the SB
can't wait for someone to pop it on the flop. shut it down right there and/or isolate.

Re: 46s in the SB
Against 3 players, you have to bet out here -- or c/r the flop if you KNOW that someone will bet. Any 3, 5 or 8 would not be welcome on the turn...so you have to protect your two pair.
If you were playing heads-up with the CO, I would probably check-call the flop and c/r the turn against him, since he already min-raised before the flop. I would be hoping for an A, K, or Q to fall on the turn... |

Re: 46s in the SB
Bet out....you have a baby 2 pair with a straight draw just sitting there....
Bet the pot.....you have 4-6, be happy with any pot. |

Re: 46s in the SB
I'd fold preflop. Those cards don't build nuts, and there are players to act after you. Maybe I'd call every now and then IF I was last to act.
Note: I post my opinion for others to shoot it down. I'm a newbie NL player. Please do not take advice from me to be any good. |

Re: 46s in the SB
I am with you on this on Baulucky. 46s is just one of those hands that costs you more in the long run. Now if there was more action pre flop with deeper stacks, you might be able to break a big over pair, but in general, 46s is junk, I don't even want to complete the small blind with it.
However, since we are on the flop, I think you need to proceed like you have the best hand. If you gonna call with 46s, and you hit top/bottom pair, this is probably what you wanted to hit. You can go for a check raise, bet it out, whatever you think will work to get the money in there. Just my 2 cents. |
