Re: Putting In Too Many Bets Without Going to Showdown
Why raise the turn? It seems to me calling and just getting to showdown is much better, if we are planning on giving 2.5 BB worth of action at all.

Re: Putting In Too Many Bets Without Going to Showdown
I thought calling down was too weak. He may have a flush draw, pair, gutshot combo that I felt needed raising.

Re: Putting In Too Many Bets Without Going to Showdown
was that turn raise a misclick? or is this whole post an outline on how to fold the turn vs unknown?
call/call/call and expect to lose was the plan from the flop right? |

Is he really going to fold those HU? [/ QUOTE ] You folded top pair HU. I don't see why another player wouldn't lay down less than that to a turn raise. I tend to agree...if he's betting a worse hand, let him. Especially given that he's an unknown, I'd like to get to a showdown here and get the info if nothing else. This looks like a pretty textbook WA/WB situation to me, and the river is unlikely to change which one it is. |

Re: Putting In Too Many Bets Without Going to Showdown
Eh fine I'll take the WA/WB line. I guess I don't need to be finding lines to fold TP HU.
