The play pre-flop is justified depending the table read. The true fault in this hand is that you are dealt a monster and you tried to slow-play it. slow-playing is fine , but you should really bet your hand to prevent draws. the loose player is going to call your bet. EVERY TIME... And if he had folded you only lost the potential of about $18 in a pot w/ 2 people in it. At such low limits, you should only slow play a hand when you can get more than 2 players in on the action.
