Hey scuba.... whats your thinking behind check/calling with top pair from the blinds? No bet on the turn? No value/block bet on the river? [/ QUOTE ] What hands that I beat call my bets? |

Re: Play from the blinds: KQo ($33)
The MTT'r in me wants to either
A: Check raise the flop and fold to a push, or B: Lead out the flop. How bad are these options? |

I prefer both of those to check/calling personally.

[/ QUOTE ] You play better players than I do Scuba... but where I play I'd get calls from mid-pairs and occassionally Ace high from bad players....on the river I mean... ...I think I see what you're thinking now though... Would you bet the turn if your top pair was lower than a King....Say if you had K9 for top pair w/your nine? |

[/ QUOTE ] Plenty, cmon you are playing against total and complete morons in the $33 most of the time. Until you give them the credit that they deserve, which is very little, you wont acheive maximum results. They don't need top pair 2nd kicker to call big bets like perhaps you do. Thats one main reason why you are supposed to be so much better than them. Anyway I'm not even talknig about the play of this hand, its just the attitude that's way off. |
