It\'s been a while...
Since I've slowplayed a set AND since I've posted anything strategic and not about the HU tourney.
So, here is the momentous occasion...villain is 30/14 over 80 PT-tracked hands but I've played with him before and these numbers seem about right. Re: It\'s been a while...
K sucks on the river, your only beating AA/QQ/KJ, not sure what he reraises with on the flop, but JJ is still possible.
I prob. just call, as AA/QQ/KJ I don't think are calling reraises on the river with your flop cold call. |

Re: It\'s been a while...
Hmm. AA and KJ are the only hands I see conceivably betting then calling your river push that you beat. And JJ and KK beat you. So I guess it depends on your read of the player (i.e. how tight/aware he is). Since I think a solid player would fold AA on the river, then only 1 hand calls you and two hands beat you (maybe three if he raised with a low pocket pair and caught mid-set). So I'd just call - if a non A K or Q river came I would push his bet. But what do I know, I would have bet the turn!

Re: It\'s been a while...
I don't like the check on the turn. The way you played it seems to make it easy for villain to get away from a worse hand on the end, and he gets a free chance to catch up (unless he's drawing dead). |

Re: It\'s been a while...
That looks really weird. I guess you're representing 53 with the flop/turn combo, but I don't know what's going on with the river. Is he bad enough to call your push with AK? I suppose the raise is small enough (900 more I believe?) that he'd call with AK/AA/JT/KJ, but I still think this is a weird line.
