JJ in BB
$10 NL 6-max
Is there a mircro-limits forum? Anyway, relevant stacks are... Hero (BB) - $21 SB (just joined the table, seems ABC) - $11 MP (huge fish, will call down on every street w/ bottom pair no matter what's on board) - $6 Everyone limps to SB who makes it .30, I raise to $1 knowing that MP will call everytime. He calls, SB calls. Flop is 99A - SB checks, I bet out $1.25 into $3.30 pot. MP folds, SB thinks for a bit and calls. Turn is 9 - SB checks, I check River is A - SB bets out $3.50 into $5.80 pot. I really hate my play on every street here. Advice? Thanks. |

Re: JJ in BB
There is little you are beating here, so I fold.

Re: JJ in BB
it's JJ, in the title. Fold the river you aren't beating anything that bets there.

Re: JJ in BB
I think you should've bet more on the flop, might have been able to take it right there, and if not this hand would've been much easier to play. On the river you have the board and that's it. Might be splitting the pot, but I don't think it's worth calling the bet with only a chance at half of the pot, JMO

Re: JJ in BB
I had no intention in calling the river bet for the reasons all of you mentioned. I was more interested in my flop and turn play. I definitely think I should've bet 2/3+ on the flop. That could have made KK-QQ-TT fold and maybe even A with a weak kicker. Then again this is $10 NL.

Re: JJ in BB
Pot the flop, you wouldn't bet like that with AK would you? Villian still may not fold but you can be sure you're beaten if he does call. JMO
