Isolate with AA? 100NL 6 max
Converter does not work for some reason.
Relatively aggressive table party 6max 100NL. Effective stack 100, bb is short with $25 and on a little bit loose side. UTG raises 3bb, I pick up AA UTG+2 bump it to 9 and UTG+3 flat calls, and folds to bb who pushes. 17 more to me and I decide to just call, UTG+3 thinks for a while and comes along. 3 to the flop of 998 with $78 in the pot and I check raise all in lost to 98s. BB has AQ. Obviously I like the fact the donkey puts 1/4 of his stack in with 98s but is there anything wrong on my side? |

Re: Isolate with AA? 100NL 6 max
He made a mistake cold calling a 9bb raise. Hard to see where you did anything wrong. I want to build a side pot as well. That flop is actually good most of the time you have AA. Tough break.

Re: Isolate with AA? 100NL 6 max
I reraise all in here everytime. I'd rather get my money in as a favorite. There's 47 bucks already in the pot that you should be happy to play for heads up against the short stack.
Loose opponents behind you are going to be tempted to keep you honest in this large pot and may come along anyway. UTG+3 is going to get nearly 2:1 on his call if you push. |

Re: Isolate with AA? 100NL 6 max
what range of hands do you think he would call my push? QQ-AA is my guess. There is definitely some hands that I want him to call with like AK-AQ.
