I don't like a push at all. It is obvious you do not have a king in your hand. [/ QUOTE ] Yeh but most opponents wont realize this when they are holding a 10 or whatever and will view the k as a scare card, even though it is a brick. I think this makes a push a viable option, calling is fine too as you have position. |

Re: Sooted and Booted, 5/10NL
Fold on the flop. This makes it much easier for you obviously, because the key card-the diamond-came for you on the turn and now your in a big dillema. Obviously you have outs, but when he fires 275 on the turn and you only got around 800 left..he is not folding much here. You smoke too much crack to think you have fold equity on somebody slow playing aces here. Nobody is folding aces for that price the way it was played out. When he leads on the turn like that you are putting too much money in the pot. I think you have to assume a flush is your only out. An 8 or a 7 on the river will get you broke a lot. If i was to call the raise though, and hit my diamond draw onthe turn, i'd say pushing is waaaay better than just flat calling 275 here...at least give yourself 2 chances to win.

Re: Sooted and Booted, 5/10NL
The pot is too big for a turn push to throw him off a legit hand, which he has already screamed repeatedly that he has.
A for effort though |
