Re: Niagra Falls...
Seneca Niagara on the American side is the place to go. It's only about three or four blocks from the border. 18 tables, spreads 2-4 3-6 4-8 limit, 1-2 2-5 5-10 NL, 1-5 Stud and 3-6 Omaha 8OB with a kill. And you get free drinks and they have crappy tournaments (at least from what I've seen) every day at 10am and 7pm I believe.
Casino Niagara is a few blocks across the border on the Canadian side has about ten tables spreading 2-4 3-6 limit, 1-2 2-5 NL. They mostly have 1-2 NL and the play is absolutely terrible, but the dealers and management are terrible too and $5/half hour time charge is not to my liking. Plus you have to pay for drinks so get ready to drop $5.25 on a bottle of Molson. I haven't played at Niagara Fallsview's poker room but I've heard they only spread 5-10 limit and 5-5 5-10 10-20 NL. And I've heard that the play is atrocious. But even though it will be easier to win in the Canadian rooms, Seneca Niagara is the only place to play in the Niagara Falls area. And I'm not sure when their hotel is opening (I think soon), but that will definitely bring in some more stupid tourists just asking to be check-raised. DZ |

Re: Niagra Falls...
The only other alternative is to hop on I90 to Turning Stone which is about 165 miles from Buffalo. They have a decent card room there, but the rakes are higher than you'll find in Vegas. Then again, most every rake is now higher than Vegas and yet the locals still complain about how good they have it, LOL. Dont' believe me? Do a search in this forum and you'll see what I'm talking about.
As for Seneca Niagara, I have a friend who used to work there and he said even weekdays are nice because you gets lots of business people after work from Buff that come up for a good time, since there is no other alternative there. |

Re: Niagra Falls...
Canada has Fallsview for "High limits"(all NL games, 5/5 and above mostly)
and Casino Niagara (low limit games, NL and Limit games) American side has Seneca , my personal choice i play there all the time, they have a nice soft 5/10 NL game [500 max buy in] |
