I'm gonna post a report on my 4/8 game at the commerce yesterday.
I was up 30 BB after two hands b/c of my pocket 3s. |

Today's lesson from Ed Millers book - during a typical limit session, if you have cold called more than 3-4 times, YSSCKY. If you cold call more than once per 3 hours - YSSCKY.

Some of these guys cold-call 3-4 times in 3-4 hands.
And naturally TSSCKY. |

Keep in mind that cold calling also means playing premium hands too passivly not just playing bad hands against a raise.
I never really thought of that till I read it. costing yourself money either way. |

You mean I shouldn't cold call a raise from a LAG idiot with pocket jacks?????? Man I need to reread Play Poker Like The Pros.

I've actually heard that the no limit section from that book is actually semi ok. Anyone read it? They have the no limit section in a smaller book.
Apparently, the new Kill Phil book is very, very good9no limit tourney adn sit n go advice). Someone on here said it is as good as the Harrington books. |
