I don't like the fold. You see him doing this with AA KK? I don't. I'd call, theres a lot of dead money, and it's definitely cEV+.

[/ QUOTE ]

Ok, but what do you read the button cold-call as? Easy fold for me.

I see CO doing this with exactly AK and AA-QQ. 80% says its AK.

This is really really specific. Is this true?

I was about to type that this would make an easy fold before a screwed around with poker stove here. This is still a call or a push, and I still kinda like calling because of the covered pot.

This guy just straight can't play postflop. It screamed of AK. Maybe he has 88-JJ and freakishly rare if he has AA, KK, or QQ.

How am I supposed to interpret button's call though?

Button's range doesn't matter much provided it's not very heavy on AA, KK, AK. I think it's in fact very light on AA, KK.

Playing around with pokerstove makes this really clear.

this is a $20 180-man on stars correct?

You will see K6o and QJ enough to make this an extremely profitable call. I'm not being sarcastic or exaggerating either.

it could actually be heavy on AA b/c the button is looking for a call (or hopefully an all-in reraise) from the original raiser? What other pair wouldn't want to re-raise all-in to shut out any stray Ace that certainly would have odds to call at this point?
