Isn't it ironic that the ACLU, a group I'm sure he abhors, allows Pat Robertson the freedom to speak his mind freely. Doesn't he realize that his point of view, on a worldwide basis, represents a very small percentage. I would venture to say it is even in the minority within the US.

I believe it is the 1st amendment that gives Pat Robertson this ability, not the ACLU. It is actually quite scary that you think ACLU grants this priviledge. -Gryph |

No, try the Constitution. |

I like how he issued a fatwa against that Venezuelan guy and the two supreme court justices.

Pat Robertson represents the American version of Authoritarn Nationalism. Let's assume for every one American that follows Pats ideology there is one person in each and every other part of the Earth that follow the same ideology but, of course, modified for their Nation and their Religion.
In America, Pat has a viewership of 1 million adults out of about 150 million. So about .75% of the worlds adult population believes absolutely that their Religion under their Nation's guidance should be followed by everyone for their own good. That doesn't seem like a very big number. I thought it'd be more. no point...me just rambling... |
