[/ QUOTE ] Even with computer perfect play, bac would only be beatable if cards were dealt down almost to the very end of the shoe. Even then, you'd have to sit out for most of the beginning of the shoe, otherwise your edge would be eaten up by the earlier bets, especially using the customary 8 decks. This fact was suggested years ago via simulation, by Abdul. In modern times it can be verified by exact computation, which I can verify has been done by at least one person. alThor |
