Remember GPKR client?
Pre-Rounders... pre-Moneymaker... when the pokerrooms were becoming highlimit slot rooms across the country? I was "rankine" by the way. |

I was on there; KLhyr (It's a Klingon name) for a while and then Amazon in an earlier form before the double Aces in front and the cyberpunk 0.
Learned a lot playing on that site. I downloaded parts of the database, but not quite sure how to put them together. Shauna |

I learned to play at University! but at the same time played on IRC, and undernet.
I remember playing in their tournies and I found out that if I went allin twice (with nothing) the 3rd time I would usually get cards and get called an win lol. It was free play and hard to stay disiplined. Saw one of the guys I introduced to holdem from the draw game playing in the WSOP. ToT |

If you'll recall, that's where pokibot cut its teeth.
And its evil cousin, loki2a. I think those turned into the AI in most of the single player poker games out today? |

I never really liked IRC poker, it was fast and people would yell at me, hahaha! But how many remember when Casino Coco (then eventually became Planet Poker) was one of the first if not the first to play on for fun? We'd sit there for hours just for bragging rights...
