So here I am minding my own business at a 5/10 table, and a freakin skunk lets loose and blasts something outside my window. I challenge anyone to stay on the top of your game when that happens. I may have to take a break.

I lived near a few farms in college, where they fertilized the fields with chicken chit. try dealing with the odor for a few weeks.

The second worst-smelling thing I've ever driven behind was a truck pulling a trailer that had the remains of about four deer in various states of decomposition.
I encountered the worst-smelling thing I've ever driven behind while making a long drive 2.5 years ago. I was on US 71 somewhere in abyss between Joplin MO and Bentonville AR, when I got a whiff of something just awful. I did change the air thing on my car to recirculate, but it was too late. South of Joplin, US 71 is kind of a winding back road, so it was quite a while before I could pass. When I finally did, I found that I had been driving behind a truckload of chickens. They were not a happy-looking crew. |

I just moved from Springdale, Arkansas (+/- 5 miles from Bentonville) last year and that's where both Tyson's and George's chicken headquarters are located. Horrible smell year around in several parts of town. The rest of NW Arkansas was pleasant, especially this time of year when the hills were changing colors. |

The worst thing I ever smelled:
I was 16 and I lost a bet with my friends grandmother and I had to....well....never mind. |

I drove through Arkansas in the spring, but I did think that it had to be absolutely gorgeous there during the fall.

unless the game is very, very good, i'm headed straight for the pub, not because my play would really suffer as a result, but, rather... who wants to smell that? now, who likes beer? two birds, one stone.
i've smelled that before, though. gross. |
