QQ HU on a monotone board
The villain is LAG, the type that likes to raise and bet odd amounts. Plays well postflop and is a good player. My image is even more LAG, basically it has been us two running the table for the last 10 or so rounds (since I sat down). Me and the villain have had a few runins, mostly with no showdowns (only one where I called a potsized river bet w/2nd pair and he had nada). I have had the upperhand in these runins so far but I am pretty sure he thinks my pot sized bets are full of crap. Here is the hand in question (I have so far open raised in 40%+ of the hands),
Partypoker 5/10NL 6MAX (Hero is the sb) All fold to hero, Hero Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (sb) - raise to $45 Villain calls Flop 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero bets $85 Villain raise to $171 Hero - ? Vilain has about $750 behind at this point and I have him covered. Should I: - push? - call and checkraise allin a nonclub turn? - call and push a nonclub turn? Do you ever call here? and if you do, what is your plan if the turn is a club? an Ace? |

Re: QQ HU on a monotone board
I would check the flop and fold to the raise.
