Best site for small stakes tournaments
I apologise if this has been asked before. I'm sure it has but I used the search so...
I'm a NL ring player and I'm looking to improve my tournament game. I'm a winning player over the last year and a half but I don't feel my game is that strong. I've read a fair bit but I figure the best way is to simply get a load of experience under my belt. My main problem is I'm unsure in various situations when I get deep and I feel that I simply need to get in this situations more often to improve. Which sites is best for small stakes buy ins >$5. I'm rolled for NL100 but I'd rather play small while I find my tournament feet. Is this the best way to get experience or will small stakes tourneys teach me bad habits? Cheers |

Burningyen Compares Tournament Structures at the Major Sites That said, I prefer pokerstars, good blind structures, good starting stack size, and plenty of bad players in those low buy in's, along with a large player pool. |

Re: Best site for small stakes tournaments
Small stakes will no teach you bad habits, but it's difficult to learn if you don't care at all about the money I think. I don't know what a NL100 roll lokks like, but I would reccomend finding a level where at least the final table payouts will make you smile.
Try moving down to play 0.01/0.02 NL cashgames and see if you can bring out your A game... |
