Besides PP, what are some leading sites for low/mid limit ring games?
I play almost exclusively limit ring games, currently micro-limits, and am looking for a place to play on while the whole party situation gets worked out. I have an inactive account on party that I don't want to activate incase anything does come up about having to have an inactive account.
So I'm looking for suggestions, preferably sites that auto-import hands and support PokerAce. Absolute? Prima? Pokerstars? Seems like pokerstars, while being a great site, might not be optimal for me since they seem to focus on their tournaments, and their ring games and rake structure aren't really as good. Thoughts? |

Pokerstars is a great site, for tournaments. Everyone knows this. I was just wondering how their low/mid limit ring games compared to other competitors, and if there was maybe a better choice?

Thats cool. Why not just play several of the sites you listed at the same time, a game or two at each. See how each feels and go from there.

Paradise. No question.
The site is much looser and busier now than 1 year ago when I signed up if you ask me. You can find a signup bonus somewhere, I'm sure. |

Players are tight, software is slow, thus there is no good reason to play there unless you like Cyber Snacks/Drinks. Stay away, far far away. |

[/ QUOTE ] You're kidding on the rake structure comment, right? Is there *ANY* limit where Party has a more favorable rake structure than PokerStars? Stars' overall rake structure is vastly superior to Party's. Acme |

[/ QUOTE ] I played recently and found fairly loose play at full ring .5/1 and .25/.50 LIMIT HE. My personal stats show over 45% saw the flop during this time. Such table looseness rivaled pre-split Party and is leap-years ahead of Absolute and Prima as well. There are several chronic rocks and that's why it is easy to move tables. Do YOU have any suggestions that aren't Party and have micro-limits and lots of available games for the original poster? I'd love to hear of a site that looser AND with better software. There are looser sites, but they're no better than Paradise software. There is faster software out there, but the tables are tighter. |
