I came across a Bodog link with $100 for a new account. It requires 300 poker points to clear it. I read over the point system but I'm fairly new to bonus whoring and can't make much out of it. For those of you that have played there, would this be a waste of my time to try and clear playing $25 and $50 nl? Thanks for the help.

You'll clear it fairly quickly because the players there are pretty bad and the pots really get up there. You do have to contribute to the point to get points though.

If you play stud it clears faster as you contribute to every pot through the ante.

it will clear pretty slow at NL 25 and NL 50 levels. There are better bonuses out there. The games are pretty soft though.

Thanks guys. I think I'll probably hit up the Boss Media $100 bonus sites first. Maybe I'll make my way back to Bodog a little later.

There are more players at $10 NL on Bodog than other levels. Also the average pots of $10 NL are often similar to the average pots of $25 and $50 NL I would suggest clearing at $10 NL if you want to play low stakes. Otherwise maybe jump up to $100 NL for that site.
I have cleared at $10 NL in the past and it has worked out OK. Not as fast as Party Poker by any means. What I like about Bodog is a good supply of players with low skills, great software, and excellent statistics. Of course the bottomless bonus is great too. It was better at 20%, but just being bottomless still leaves me liking it. I am not liking my Boss Media experience at the moment. Good luck to you. |
