K9 two pair - 200nl 6max
Villain is 45/8/4.00 after 48 hands.
Looking at this, I realize I should have raised more on the flop, say to about 16 or so. I figure I could be against KQ/KJ (outside chance), better or worse two pair, set or straight possible but perhaps less likely. Anyways, I felt uncomfortable on the turn and I HATE feeling uncomfortable on the turn. Standard? Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (6 max, 5 handed) converter Hero ($235.10) UTG ($165.15) MP ($520.25) Button ($203.15) SB ($202.60) Preflop: Hero is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Re: K9 two pair - 200nl 6max
I think the flop raise is fine, but yeah something like $15 is probably better. I like to bet stronger on the turn because these clowns with an aggression factor of 4.00 feed off of weak bets and love to exploit them by raising you and hoping you fold.
Anyway, it looks like he made his straight on the turn. I really think he would have folded the flop if he was holding T9, or T8. If he had two pair on the flop he surely would have reraised you. He could also have KT, KQ, KJ, but I doubt it because these dudes with 4.00 AF love to overbet the pot when they have top pair, which he clearly didn't do. The way it looks, you have to fold to his turn check-raise. It smells too much of a straight draw, due to his aggression factor and the way he played the flop and turn. |

Re: K9 two pair - 200nl 6max
Trust me when I say the one hand you are not seeing on the river here is one pair with the exception of maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe AK[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. The minraise on the turn is villain telling you he thinks his hand is the nuts. Now whether or not you call depends heavily on villain, but seeing as how the legitimate hands you are beating are rather few, I'd fold the turn. 67 is probably the most likely hand, I suppose KT is also possible. You will definitely see 89 here sometimes, but it's just less consistent with villains stats (that aggro he probably 3-bets the flop with two pair).

Flop looks fine, but this looks like a fold on the turn. Why would he possibly raise this turn that much without something better? Most likely 67 but K10 is possible.

Ding. Villain has 67, the straight, and my money.
