Re: AQo, played strange?
What do you mean you don't know where your at? You have TPTK. If you wanted to find out early, lead/3bet the flop or c/r it. I prefer lead/3bet though. Then continue betting until told otherwise.
With the checkraise on the turn you make it look like you have a flush. But then you check the turn, killing your folding chances... JT [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] |

So, what happened?
The re-raiser had 9d9s. Forget the beat.
It's just I was a little surprised to see this hand. Thanks for your comments. |

Re: AQo, played strange?
"...folding to a raise might suck"
It does. I hate it! But here are a few reasons why he probably won't raise the river. 1. He didn't re-raise the turn. Usually, when players don't re-raise, they don't all the sudden raise on the river. 2. He's a passive player (like you mentioned.) 3. I have the "nut" card, so even if he has a flush, he probably won't raise me, (although some players wait till the river to make sure that another heart didn't come to make a move.) 4. Although it's not likely that I have 9, the fact that now there's str8 and flush possibility on the board means it just got scarier from him (it should've been anyway -lol) |
