Re: Greenstein on Moneymaker and Pokersuperstars
[ QUOTE ]
I'd like to know how he was insanely lucky to win it. [/ QUOTE ] Two key hands off the top of my head (can't recall the exact details but I DO know he sucked out big time): -Rivering a higher boat (Qs full of As) to Ivey's boat (9s full of Qs) -Turning or rivering a set of 8s against Brenes' AA Can someone confirm these and please add to the list? |

Re: Greenstein on Moneymaker and Pokersuperstars
The Ivey hand has been discussed to death. Ivey hit a 2-outer on the turn to take the lead against MM's trip queens; MM then hit one of his 7 outs on the river to re-suck out. It's absurd to say that Moneymaker was "insanely" lucky on this hand.

So moneymaker puts no money in when he big favorite, then he calls opponent all in when he is huge dog yet he wasn't "insanely" lucky to river him? Im not taking anything away from money's win, but he was definetely lucky as [censored]. |

While the "insanely" is arguable (c'mon... 7 outs isn't that big of a dog), he certainly got very lucky in this hand. He did, however, get insanely insanely lucky that he didn't have to see Phil Ivey's mug at the final table. |

[/ QUOTE ] i don't normally respond in these threads as i believe they are extremely juvinile and retarded, however since no one else seems to be correcting you on this point i thought i'd chime in. the flop was not checked. moneymaker bet and ivey called. |

Calling someone [ QUOTE ] insanely lucky [/ QUOTE ]on the basis of broadcasted hands from the WSOP would be like calling someone [ QUOTE ] insanely accurate [/ QUOTE ] because of 1000 darts they threw simultaneously, one hit the bullseye. |

So I'm gonna need a lot more than that. |

Re: Greenstein on Moneymaker and Pokersuperstars
Since Brenes walked away after that hand, Moneymaker couldn't have been all in.
