Re: Guide to NLHE tournament play: fifth edition
I didn't have time to read this before work...so now I'm late for work. This is priceless information that every good tournament pro already knows and those who are newer to tourneys will find invaluable.
I'm not sure why you let the cat out of the bag, but heck...a damn fine read. |

Re: Guide to NLHE tournament play: fifth edition
"G. If Two or More Players Are Allin
If two or more players are allin before the flop, this is a great opportunity to win a big pot. Generally, you can call with any ace, any two high cards, or any pair. " Good advice there. The chance that any of them is holding an ace is negligable, so you can call with A2off. The chance of hitting an ace and knock out both players is 30%, almost correct odds, and as explained above an all-in is a strong indication that a player doesnt have much of a hand. |

Re: Guide to NLHE tournament play: fifth edition
Certainly lots of brainfood, but in the format presented it seems as 50% of your hands are playable, and your going to win all of them trough sheer shreewdness. It must be emphesized that the complexity of the game seems very simplified with this approach and it is obliviouss to what kind of level your opponent is on. I for one do apply alot of the materiale, but never without reason and in a straightforward formula context as here. I believe this post can do alot of damage to ones game, and maybe I am to much a novice to fully comprehend, but my stomack is somewhat twisting and I cant rid my self of the feeling that is a jokish post?
As I read my reply I go redish and realize it is completely bs, shame for the forum, but u made me feel like a sucker at least |

Re: Guide to NLHE tournament play: fifth edition
This strategy only truly shines in the Big Big Game that usually contains Bill Fillmaff, Hoyle Dutson, and Eric Smiegol.

Re: Guide to NLHE tournament play: fifth edition
I love that people are replying to this like it was real- it's obviously a joke. The strategies here are all almost exactly the opposite of correct play.
