Re: One Way I am Losing a Lot of Money
If your and his stacks are deep enough, make sure you are following Bob Ciaffone's "5/10 rule". If his pre-flop raise is 5% of your stack or less, call with any pocket pair. If you don't hit your set, you can get away. But if you hit your set (which you'll do 1 out of 7.5 times), give'm the old "Rope-A-Dope" treatment from HOH1 and stack him.
Good luck. |

Re: One Way I am Losing a Lot of Money
Last night I was facing a very similar player. I was licking my chops. Since he had been reraising my preflop raises all night I decided I was going to push if he isolated me preflop and I was holding a strong ace or a decent pocket pair. I was holding AJ and I raised preflop, he reraises me, I push, he calls and he flips over 42 off suit. The second time this happened the same way and I was holding pocket tens and he flipped over QJ. I think I had the right idea against this guy. I am more than willing to get all my money in before the flop as long as it is only him and I. Of course I lost both of these hands though...
