NL Texas Hold'em $20 Buy-in + $2 Entry Fee Trny:15337052 Level:1 Blinds(10/15) - Wednesday, August 31, 19:56:30 EDT 2005 Table Table 15121 (Real Money) Seat 3 is the button Total number of players : 10 Seat 1: eurotlow03 ( $800 ) Seat 2: RECON52 ( $685 ) Seat 3: iluvsummeran ( $760 ) Seat 4: SethTV ( $840 ) Seat 5: HOTRODBF ( $800 ) Seat 6: Rifleman ( $785 ) Seat 7: millerdd ( $800 ) Seat 8: babydillon ( $710 ) Seat 9: d_schneid03 ( $1020 ) Seat 10: ricsider ( $800 ) Trny:15337052 Level:1 Blinds(10/15) ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to eurotlow03 [ Kd Ad ] >You have options at Table 13864 Table!. Rifleman folds. millerdd folds. babydillon calls [15]. d_schneid03 calls [15]. ricsider folds. eurotlow03 raises [60]. RECON52 folds. iluvsummeran folds. SethTV calls [50]. HOTRODBF raises [90]. babydillon calls [90]. d_schneid03 folds. eurotlow03 calls [45]. SethTV calls [45]. ** Dealing Flop ** [ Qd, Qh, 5c ] SethTV is all-In [735] HOTRODBF folds. babydillon folds. eurotlow03 can't call. My question here, is about my play preflop with this hand. I can't really imagine folding to a 45t bet more, and a raise seems like a good idea w/ AKs. Comments? Results in white eurotlow03 folds. SethTV shows [ 3h, 6h ] a pair of queens. After this hand an the next couple it quickly became apparent that this guy doesnt like money. |

Re: AKs First Hand Party 22
Also a newbie, but on the first hand, I might limp with AK and hope to hit big. Too many loose callers that early in tourney...they could call a raise to 90 with anything.

Re: AKs Fourth Hand Party 22
I hate min-raisers, but even so my new strategy in the 22's is to push this. If they have AA/KK so be it, but there is just too much money out there to pass up the opportunity. And in the 22's I think when you do get called, it is with Ax (and worse) with enough frequency to make it more than worthwhile.

Re: AKs Fourth Hand Party 22
What about the times when they have middle PP and they call. I don't really wanna put my tournament on the line in the early stages w/ AK when at best im probably 60 40, but most probably 50 50.

Re: AKs Fourth Hand Party 22
Agreed. Pushing is not the right thing to do with AK. Raise to 60 or limp. Go from there.
