Way to go! Congratulations.

FWIW, I'd be willing to put a good portion of my bankroll, betting that you make an MD. Very easy +ev bet.

There will be many times where you'll be disappointed, and poker will look like a good crutch to make you feel better. Coffee will be much better!! Like someone else said, I would let it go before starting my new role -- kind of freshining my mind and getting into a new routine.

I can vouch for living close to work. Always have, and it paid in spades. Funny how most people want to live near work and want to buy a condo/property nearby and keeps the values going up. When you get a chance, I'd also look into spending some of that poker money on a coold condo nearby.
