Boring AA hand
Paradise $50 NL 5 handed. I have a tight-aggressive image if anyone was paying attention. Villian is somewhat loose but not a maniac.
Villian has about $45 and hero covers. I am dealt AA in the BB. Villian opens UTG for $5 which is a good bit larger than his standard raise. I reraise to $15 and villian calls. Flop is Ks 2s Kc. Hero checks, villian moves in for $25. Hero? |

Re: Boring AA hand
Definatly tough, but you might have wanted to bet the flop to see where youre at. AK, QQ, and JJ are definatly possible. Personally, I'd pay him off. A 10x BB raise does not always mean AA, its possible that he is desperatly trying to thin the field and will power-bet anyone who calls him with JJ TT QQ or, AK. Anyway, use your best judgement.

Re: Boring AA hand
why do you want to bet? you're either crushing him or he's crushing you. giving a free card is the least of your concerns here. i'd call this as i'd expect a pocket pair as often as i'd expect a K.

Re: Boring AA hand
After having posted the hand I now also think it was a fairly easy call. The check could have induced a bluff from a lot of PP's. I called and I was really afraid villian would show me AK for the rare AK outflops AA, but villian only had A9o. Guess he had somewhere to go.
