How to vent?
When you need to vent some anger/frustration what do you do?
I realize bad beats happen all the time, but when they happen to you, what do you do to forget about it and refocus? tlow |

Re: How to vent?
don't associate results with emotion.
just play your best and learn. money will come. |

Re: How to vent?
if your results effect your emotions, don't play until you've calmed down.
i find ice water nice. others find beating their spouse nice. find a happy middle ground if neither works for you. citanul |

Re: How to vent?
Sometimes I go play a $5 SNG, play like a complete A$$, make all kinds of rude comments, and laugh at the table tutors who try to teach me how to play better.
Other times I listen to some speed metal. Whatever works. |

Re: How to vent?
I had a "suckout garden" going for a while, where I planted a vegetable seed for every bad beat. It worked darn well in NorCal, but I moved to Vegas and it didn't fare so well that week where it hit 115 degrees every day.

Re: How to vent?
I play limit Omaha ring games as a change of pace. When STT's are'nt happening for me (I'm playing bad, unlucky, whatever) Limit Omaha is fun and pretty easy at the lower limits.
Haha, for some folks (the type to take it all too hard) Omaha is a probably the worst game to play. |
