And why on earth would you bet/fold the turn with 9 potential outs? [/ QUOTE ] You are right, the jack on the turn changes things, but that would be my plan on the flop. When the jack comes down you can't fold the turn so check/calling is fine. I would consider check/folding the river though. |

His flop raise and turn bet were in rhythm. His river bet not so much. Not long enough to be a deliberate pause (where he wants a call)... but long enough to let me know he had to think about it.
