No reason to think he has an ace, a flush draw and he almost certainly didn't just hit his gutshot unless it was 54, so bet and get called by a pair. You can fold fairly easily to a river check-raise.

If he's got a 4, this is an OESD not a gutshot.

Bet-folding is probably right but I have a hard time value betting here, or if I do folding to a check-raise.

Oops yeah it's an oesd but I'd still bet.

EDIT: And how can you have both a hard time betting and a hard time folding to a cr? That seems inconsistent, either you think you're likely to be good often or you don't.

Well I don't like betting because I don't think I've got the best hand here 55% of the time. But IF I did, then I don't think I could bring myself to folding getting ~11:1 after a checkraise.
