Ok I guess everyone is right , Pacific software sucks sucks
Being able to double bet on 4th in 7cs8/b is a flaw, but one I think is advantageous to me.
But, I'm playing Omaha8/b, turn the nuts (no low out) with redraw to nut flush, I'm on the button, 7 way action, SB bets out his last dollar all in, all call, and I CAN ONLY CALL! Ok I feel better now. |

Re: Ok I guess everyone is right , Pacific software sucks sucks
Are you saying that when someone bet a partial bet and was all in in a multiway pot you were unable to raise?
If so this happens to me on party from time to time as well. Very annoying. |

This is actually a little known rule of Holdem. Not sure what you could search for to find old posts about this so maybe someone can explain better. I don't know why, but I know it is a rule.

[/ QUOTE ] You are correct. An all-in raise less than the minimum raise is not considered a raise and cannot be re-raised by the original bettor unless another player raised. So, for example, EP bet 100, MP pushes in his 134. If LP just calls 134 then EP can only call. However, if LP raises then EP can re-raise. LP is allowed to raise here because his bet is based on the EP. There are some places where the "cut-off" is 50% of the required minimum. So, in the case above, if MP pushes 151 and LP calls then EP is allowed to re-raise. |

In this case I don't think there was a raise? Only a partial bet. I think the op should have been able to raise.

Re: Ok I guess everyone is right , Pacific software sucks sucks
I remember the first time I signed on to this site I was baffled, it looked like it was from the early 90s or something. I did almost a complete retooling of the graphics (except for the buttons) and I admit it feels a lot better, but still clunky and having the flaws you mentioned. I've never had an issue with the hot keys (I dont even know what buttons they are) but some people on here really despise them as well.

Re: Ok I guess everyone is right , Pacific software sucks sucks
When this is the case any bettor has the option to complete the bet. Not raise, but complete it to whatever the minimum bet is. The fact that Pacific does not allow you to do this shows what morons they are.

When this is the case any bettor has the option to complete the bet. [/ QUOTE ] I agree. Then another player can raise the completed bet if they want to. * * * By the way, just received e-mail from them: "On Monday, August 15 at 21:00 (PPT) or 9 PM Eastern Time we’ll be guaranteeing another $200,000 prize pool tournament! Satellites start from as little as $1 + $0.10 or buy-in direct for only $150 + $15!" |
